The challenge
Sending money abroad from Africa is usually slow, expensive and full of hidden fees. Taja set out to make it instant and transparent, which means the backend has to move money across many countries, currencies and payout methods, show the exact rate and fee up front, and track every transfer in real time.
My role
I worked on the backend as part of the team, building the services behind Taja's payments.
