The challenge
When a payment starts as a casual message like "send fifty six thousand naira to Love", the system has to understand exactly who gets paid and how much, confirm it with the person, and then move real money across several countries and currencies, all in seconds and without mistakes.
My role
I worked on the backend as part of the team, building the services that turn chat instructions into payments.
